My own Pilates journey began after having my first child and struggling to find a fitness professional with Pre & Post Natal knowledge and experience to help me recover fully. After having my second child my Diastasis Recti became worse and it was at this point I realised that there was a lack of help and knowledge out there not only for Mums trying to recover postnatally  but also knowing which exercises are safe to do prenatally. I also saw more and more people suffering from bad backs and neck tension often as a result of the technological world we now live in, often sitting for long periods of time, whether driving, or at a desk in front of a computer.
Qualified  and  certified as a STOTT PILATES® Matwork instructor and  Reformer,  Tower , Stability  Chair  and  Barrels   trained  teacher  in  the  Classical  Method,  I  offer beginner  to  advanced  Matwork classes to help clients achieve a balanced, healthy and sustainable exercise routine which helps them be the best possible and pain free version of themselves, whilst working out in a calm, supportive, encouraging and fun environment. I also offer  apparatus  based 1-2-1/2-2-1s utilising the  apparatus  and  work  clients  through  the  repertoire  using  the  system.  Although  I  don‘t  run  specific Prenatal & Postnatal   group  classes,  I  can  offer  these  as
1-2-1 sessions.
Each year I take Continuing Professional Development training (CPD's) to retain my certification and these workshops help to ensure the classes remain interesting and exciting, constantly bringing new research and ideas into class. Some of these include Flexion Free, Foam Roller,  advanced  Matwork,  pilates  with  props  and Prenatal & Postnatal Pilates on the Mat. I also attend other Pilates workshops  and  training  courses,   which are often run by STOTT Pilates Lead Instructor trainers and  other  highly  regarded  teachers  and these have included common lower back conditions, shoulder stability, Anatomy, Scoliosis, Osteoporosis, Post-rehab knee strength: Stabilising the most vulnerable joint and The role of the hip: Post-rehab strength and stability workshops.
